Dr. Abubabkar Sani Ali - Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
A machine learning researcher and serial EdTech founder, Dr. Abubakar Sani Ali brings over a decade of multidisciplinary experience spanning academia, technology, and entrepreneurship. He holds a PhD in Machine Learning Applications in IoT Networks from Khalifa University, the UAE’s top-ranked research institution.
Dr. Abubakar is the mind behind transformative platforms such as MySlates, NSMARTS, and Fluxes Spark, all of which reflect his dedication to AI-driven learning systems, youth development, and inclusive education. At Asataura, he drives the technical innovation and long-term strategic direction of all core products and services
Dr. Abdullahi Muhammad (CSO)
Abdullahi A.M Walee is the Chief Success Officer at Asataura Technology Services Nig. with 20+ years’ experience in education entrepreneurship. He leads customer and product success at ATS, bringing 20+ years of education-innovation experience. He’s the driving force behind flagship tools like Platinum SMS, Pavims, MySlates/MySlates Kids, and Cognito—solutions that improve how schools are managed, regulated, and supported for learning.
Engr. Onimisi Abdulraheem Salihu (CTO)
Engr. Onimisi Abdulraheem Salihu is the Chief Technology Officer of Asataura Technology Services Ltd. He holds a master’s in engineering and has 5+ years of experience in full stack development. He specializes in Flutter, FastAPI, and AI integration. As project manager, he ensures high-quality development and timely delivery.
Shehu Ibrahim Idris (COO)
Shehu Ibrahim Idris is the The Chief Operating Officer at Asataura Technology Services Ltd, He oversees the company’s daily operations and drives execution of strategic initiatives to ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and scalable growth. He is a finance and operations leader with 25+ years’ experience. He worked 12 years with DFID/FCDO and later led operations at ASI and TBI in Nigeria.
Engr. Abba Suraj (CCO) is the Chief Content Officer at Asataura Technology Services, leading content strategy and execution across the MySlates ecosystem. He works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, outcome-driven learning content that supports schools, teachers, and students, ensuring clarity, relevance, and measurable impact.

Dr. Sohailah AlYammahi - President
A respected UAE-based educational leader, Dr. Sohailah is known for her leadership in child-centered learning, women`s empowerment, and educational policy reform. With decades of experience in public education, academic research, and stakeholder engagement, she provides executive oversight and cultural integration for Asataura`s UAE-based operations. As President of Asataura Services FZE, she aligns the company`s impact with national development goals, ensuring it remains both locally grounded and globally relevant
Abid Marzouq AlDouhari- Vice President, Sales
With over 15 years of experience in EdTech enterprise sales across the MENA region, Abid Marzouq leads Asataura`s go-to-market strategy and client relations. His strengths lie in public sector engagement, product-market fit, and cross-border commercialization of educational technologies. Abid ensures asataura platforms are positioned for maximum impact and uptake across government institutions, private networks, and regional ecosystem. He plays a pivotal role in scaling partnerships and opening new market frontiers.
Tomi Davies is an IT systems analyst and strategic leader who serves as Chairman of the Board at
RevUP Caribbean, with a strong track record in venture building, digital transformation, and
advising startups across Africa and other emerging markets.
Franklin Kamnang Ngansop is an engineer and startup/business coach (MBA, MSc) who helps
ambitious organizations achieve measurable growth and transformation in as little as 3-6
months through smart, practical strategies. Based in Douala, Cameroon, and an HEC Paris
alumnus, he works across business, engineering, finance, innovation, and technology, offering
services in financial consulting, project management, business/management consulting,
engineering design, executive coaching, and strategic planning.
Sani Umar is an Information Systems Engineer and AI researcher, currently a Research and
Teaching Assistant at Khalifa University, with interests in federated learning and artificial
intelligence. He holds an MSc from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals and a BSc in
Information Systems Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University, and a recognition as the best graduating student.
Leake Zegeye Kahsay is a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Khalifa
University in Abu Dhabi. He is an engineer and researcher with strong English communication
skills and experience in wireless communications, information security, digital electronics, and
digital communication systems and experience with tools and languages such as VHDL, PSpice,
MATLAB, and OPNET.
